A Vintage Tune

Some clients give you total creative freedom, and others know exactly what they want. After digging through hundreds of ideas, Vonni had found a picture that both her and Jack not only loved, but could agree upon! They were set on wanting it replicated with restricted creative liberty. While I love the freedom design offers, this project offered up it's own challenge of bringing to life a picture they happened across, while still detailing it with my own artfulness.

Both lovers of music and vintage flair, their invites reflected nothing less. Simulating a well-loved record with hints of brown, burnt umber and mint the invites were square with a grocery colored envelope. Text remained simple stating the date, place and time with a request to rsvp, while the record needle scratched out some additional details.

You might recognize the names as she's involved in community events including Walk the Beat happening this weekend (seriously, check this event out if you're in the Grand Haven area)! Her soon to be husband Jack, is a local musician who often treats me to the sweet sounds of Tom Petty. So when asked to help out, I was excited to be a small part of their big day. Words can't express the continued support both of you have shown me and I wish you nothing but a blissful marriage and happily ever after to follow!
